Bottled by the largest independent bottlers “Gordon & Macphail”, the Speymalt range is one of the very few IB releases which distinctly names the Macallan Distillery on the bottle so there is no guessing what distillery the cask came from.
With this particular release, the cask from 1981 was bottled in 2015 and is at least 33 Years old so make no mistake about what this is… A 33-34 Year old Macallan at 1/3rd of the price of the regular Macallan distillery release 30 Year old.
These bottles are now becoming harder to come by and Gordon & Macphail’s stock of these casks are becoming less and less aged of late.
