Hakushu Japanese Forest Bittersweet Edition
The latest limited edition release from Suntory and said to be the replacement for the Spanish Oak Edition that we are used to seeing for a much higher cost. Unfortunately, in true Suntory fashion, that’s about all we know about this edition and are left to guess the rest. Unlikely that this will even make it to the Australian shores, so importing is the only way to go at this stage.
Tasting Notes:
Nose:
Cloves, apricot, prune
Palate:
A sweetly complex but sprightly flavor with notes of Manuka honey, orange marmalade, and cacao
Finish:
A well-balanced espresso-like bitter flavor that lingers pleasantly.
700ml 43% Alcohol
