This is the 2nd version of this legendary grail bottle Bowmore Bicentenary series bottling featuring the 1964 distilled liquid.

Please note that this bottle enclosure and cork has very documented and known flaws in its design as the cork over time has deteriorates and the wax seal disintegrates/melts when in contact with whisky from the cork. Poor storage of these bottles (not kept upright) will result in leakage and transit of this item is important to be transported upright. Please see closeup image of the wax seal at the top. Generally the seal is in good condition and indicative good storage and well kept upright bottling. The exact weight of the bottle/liquid is 1.475Kg and from dealing with these bottles a number of times, a full immaculately kept bottle weighs around 1.490Kg.
