Linkwood 1946 Gordon & Macphail
An incredible vintage Linkwood that was distilled in 1946, one of the oldest liquids we’ve had our hands on and from records, we believe this may have been bottled around the year 2000+ putting the maturation at around the 50+ year mark. As it is not clearly documented, this is only an estimate and we’ve made this estimate from the packaging as well as the information available online still. What’s absolutely clear, is that this post World War 2 liquid, is absolutely golden Linkwood whisky and I’d imagine only a handful of unopened bottles still exist around the world.
Please Note: The lid of the box has become detached and general wear (Pictured) of the bottle is evident over the years.
You are not only buying a top 92+ Whisky Base scoring bottle, you are buying a piece of history. This bottle is selling for over $6000 abroad and with bottles from the 1960s and prior being in such high demand, along with diminishing supplies, these are no doubt the best investment Whisky’s.
