The single malt whiskey Yamazaki Story of the Distillery 2024 EDITION is a bottle that unravels the craftsmanship of the Yamazaki Distillery and the story it has woven.
A complex and rich flavor created by the diverse Yamazaki malts. A blend of a variety of Yamazaki-style malt whiskies , including Mizunara and Spanish oak barrel whiskies. A rich sweetness is layered with a hint of spiciness, creating a complex and rich aroma.
This is the latest 2024 offering from Yamazaki and at this stage was only released in Japan and imported by us. Whilst it hasn’t been stated, these bottlings appear to replace the “Yamazaki Limited Edition” yearly releases.

Dried persimmon (rich sweetness), accented with cloves
Palate:
Rich and complex, with orange marmalade and red bean sweetness
Finish:
Smoky, spicy, and complex, long-lasting aftertaste
