Suntory Yamazaki Special Reserve 1970s
An extremely unique vintage Yamazaki release before Yamazaki received it’s accolades. This unique Suntory release was first on the market around 1969 putting this bottle as one released around the 1970s and as depicted on the label, consists of a blend of Yamazaki whisky most likely from the 1960s.
I find these really unique, vintage releases of popular distilleries, extremely exciting to dig into as you are able to taste the history of the brand. Priced only slightly higher than the currently price of a Yamazaki Distillers Reserve, this bottle would be a much more interesting bottle to bring to your next Whisky night.
